Viva la Revolución

Electric Avenue.

Seems like this electric powertrain thingy is starting to catch on. Let’s just hope they don’t kill it again.

First Tesla Motors. Then the new Chevy Volt. And now even Orange County Choppers gets in on the action. (With a little help by Siemens.)

Here’s Paul Teutul, Sr. on the first electric chopper.
That’s right. ELECTRIC CHOPPER!

Siemens electric chopper

Way to go! I want one. But even more, I want this: The eRockit!

It’s alive.

Dutch company NuFormer creates 3D projection displays on buildings – basically making them come alive…

Someone somewhere will be using this for advertising. In 3…, 2…, 1…

“Gone too soon”

“Born to amuse, to inspire, do delight. Here one day. Gone one night…”

Rest in Peace, Michael.

Fear the Mouse!

Infamous political leaders are afraid of your online participation on ishr.org.

GreenTube by Greenpeace

Excellent use of the medium and a clear case of ”Why didn’t I think of that!?”
Greenpeace uses the YouTube Player get the message across.

Vintage Stop-Motion Race.

Stop-Motion animation sure celebrates a renaissance lately.

Probably due to the fact, that it’s easier to do today than it was only 10 years ago. All you need is an idea, a digital camera or camera phone, a computer and a lot of time.

If you do it right, it looks like this, this, or even this. Ad a lot of money to the equation and the result looks like this.

Now image you were back in 1965 and didn’t have all those precious things. Just an idea and a 8mm-camera! The outcome can still be  ”fully awesome“, as Rhino would say. Watch:

Mini’s Meta-Viral

The first viral video that actually knows it’s a viral – and fake. New approach to a no-so-new concept… And that’s what makes it viral in the first place. Enjoy =)

Filmed on the german “Autobahn” A8 to Munich.

Where the Wild Things Are.

Looking forward to this film-adaption of the classic childrens book
Where the Wild Things Are“.

Let’s do “The Very Hungry Caterpillar“ next. With the transformation scene from caterpillar to butterfly made by Bruckheimer… ;)
